Khen Kurulkar is a native of Israel. He started dancing at the age of 17 and quickly realized his love for dance. In high school, Khen joined the dance program while extending his training at “Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts Afternoon Training” under the mentorship of renowned Ballet Master Elie Lazar. He then proceeded to study in the “Maslool Professional Dance Program,” “Hamisgeret professional dance program.”

In 2016 and 2017 he advanced his training at the American Academy of Ballet in New York. In addition to his classical and modern training, he trained for five years in breakdancing under Arik Jack and the world renowned Bboy Potter. In 2018, while serving in the IDF, Kurulkar was named the Ministry of Culture and Sport/IDF Excellent Dancer. He then Joined Vitacca Ballet as an inaugural company member in 2021 and is currently based in Houston, TX.

Khen has performed worldwide, across the US and internationally in Israel & Japan. His performance repertoire includes works by notable choreographers Garrett Smith, Robyn Mineko Williams, Sean Aaron Carmon, Elie Lazar, Tina Bohnstedt, Helene Simoneau, Marius Petipa, George Balanchine, Martha Graham, Benjamin Harkarvy, Goyo Monterro, Roy Assaf, Barak Marshall, Ohad Naharin, and Jiří Kylián.
