About
The Vitacca Summer Ballet Intensive (VSBI) is for classically driven, pre-professional dancers ages 9–19. VSBI offers focused, consistent, personalized training with Vitacca artistic staff and world-renowned guest faculty. Accepted dancers are welcome to attend Intensive weeks that work best with their schedule; participating in all weeks is encouraged.
Classes include: Ballet Technique, Pointe, Modern, Variations, Conditioning, and more!
Classical Variations Week
Directly following the Vitacca Summer Ballet Intensive weeks is the Classical Variations Week. This additional week of study offers the dancer (age 13+) daily technique classes, variation setting, variation research, and artistic coaching. Dancers study multiple variations throughout the week to grow both technically and artistically. Advanced pointe required; admission by invitation only. Accepted dancers are invited to attend the VSBI weeks and/or the Classical Variations Week.
Admission
Admission is by audition only. Dancers may attend an in-person audition or submit a video audition. Auditions for VSBI will be at the Vitacca Houston and Woodlands school locations. Dancers need to provide a headshot at time of audition. Please see the Vitacca School Auditions page for more details.
